Folktandvården Västra Götaland is an educational and reference app designed for iPhone users. Developed by Vastra Gotalandsregionen, this free app provides a convenient way to connect with dental professionals for advice and assistance. Whether you or your loved ones are experiencing dental emergencies, toothaches, jaw pain, mouth sores, or general concerns about dental care and oral health, this app allows you to directly consult with dentists, dental hygienists, or dental nurses.
To use the app, all you need is a mobile phone, internet connection, and mobile BankID. You can also access the app through a tablet or computer if you prefer. For children and young adults up to the age of 23, dental care is free in Västra Götaland, including video calls through this app. If you have a Frisktandvård agreement, the consultation is free of charge. For other adults, the cost is the same as a telephone consultation at a regular Folktandvården clinic, which is 300 kronor.
